How we handle your information when you use InfowireZone

About This Policy

Thanks for visiting InfowireZone. We started this website to help students and job seekers stay updated about scholarships, exam results, government schemes, and recruitment notifications. Since we ask for your email when you subscribe to updates or use our contact form, we thought it’s only fair to tell you exactly what we do with that information.

By using InfowireZone, you’re okay with how we handle data as described here. If something doesn’t sit right with you, feel free to reach out and ask us about it.

What Information Do We Collect?

Look, we’re not one of those websites that asks for tons of personal details. Here’s what we actually collect:

If you contact us or subscribe:

  • Your name and email address (that’s it)
  • Whatever message you send us through the contact form

Technical stuff (happens automatically):

  • What browser you’re using (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
  • Whether you’re on mobile or desktop
  • Your IP address (it’s like your internet ID number)
  • Which pages you looked at and how long you stayed
  • Where you came from (Google search, Facebook link, etc.)

Important note: We don’t ask for or store passwords, credit card numbers, or bank details. Why? Because we don’t sell anything and don’t need that stuff.

What Do We Do With Your Info?

Fair question. Here’s the honest answer:

  • Sending you updates: When a new scholarship opens or exam results come out, we’ll email you (if you subscribed)
  • Replying to your questions: If you contact us asking something, we need your email to respond
  • Making the site better: The technical data helps us see which articles people actually read and what needs improvement
  • Keeping spammers out: IP addresses help us block bots and fake traffic
  • Running ads: We use Google AdSense to show ads (that’s how we keep the site free)

One thing we want to be crystal clear about: We will never, ever sell your email or personal information to anyone. Not marketing companies, not other websites, not anyone. That’s a promise.

The Cookie Situation

Okay, so cookies aren’t the chocolate chip kind (unfortunately). They’re tiny files that websites save on your computer or phone. Think of them like digital sticky notes that help the site remember you.

We use a few different types:

  • Basic cookies that make the website actually work
  • Analytics cookies (via Google Analytics) so we know which articles are popular
  • Advertising cookies from Google AdSense

About those ads…

We use Google AdSense to show ads on InfowireZone. Google drops something called a DART cookie on your device. This helps them show you ads that might actually interest you based on stuff you’ve looked at online before.

Here’s the deal: Those ads you see? They’re personalized based on your browsing history across different websites. Google does this, not us. We just run the ads to keep the site free.

Don’t want personalized ads?

Totally get it. You can opt out here:

You can also turn off cookies in your browser settings. Just know that some parts of the website might not work as smoothly if you do.

Third-Party Services We Use

We don’t run everything ourselves. Here are the outside services we use:

  • Google AdSense for the ads you see
  • Google Analytics to understand our traffic (totally anonymous data)
  • Social media when you share our articles on Facebook or Twitter

Each of these companies has their own privacy policies. We can’t control what they do with data, so if you’re curious, check out:

Sometimes we link to government websites, university portals, or official notification pages. Once you click those links, you’re on their turf and their privacy policies apply, not ours.

Your Rights (Yes, You Have Them!)

Your data, your rules. Here’s what you can do:

  • Ask what we have: Want to know what info we’ve stored? Just ask us
  • Fix mistakes: Spot something wrong? We’ll correct it
  • Delete everything: Changed your mind? We can delete your data
  • Stop emails: Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom
  • Say no: Don’t like how we’re using your data? Tell us

Shoot us an email at contact@infowirezone.com for any of this stuff. We’ll get back to you within a couple of days.

Don’t want our newsletters anymore? Scroll to the bottom of any email we’ve sent and click “Unsubscribe.” Takes 2 seconds.

A Quick Note About Kids

InfowireZone is mostly for students and people looking for jobs or schemes. We don’t intentionally collect information from anyone under 13 years old. If you’re a parent and think your child gave us their info, please let us know at contact@infowirezone.com and we’ll delete it right away.

Still Have Questions?

If something here doesn’t make sense or you want to know more about how we handle your data, just reach out. We’re happy to explain.
